2. What data we collect and why

Contact form

When you complete the contact form on our website, we collect the following data:

  • Full name
  • Work email address
  • Institution / company name
  • Job title (optional)
  • Sector of activity
  • Property portfolio size (optional)
  • Message content (optional)

Purpose: Handling your enquiry, providing a response, and establishing a business relationship to present the e.Lens platform.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — processing is necessary to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.

Retention period: Data is retained for 12 months from the date of last contact, unless a business relationship is established — in which case data is processed for the duration of the agreement and the period required to secure any potential claims.

Analytical cookies

With your voluntary consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to analyse traffic on our platform. Data collected includes:

  • Number of visits and time spent on individual pages
  • Pages viewed and navigation patterns
  • Device type, screen resolution and browser type
  • Approximate geographic location (country/city level only)

Purpose: Optimising performance and improving the functionality and structure of the e.Lens website.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR — freely given and informed consent expressed via the cookie banner.

Retention period: Aggregated analytical data is retained for 12 months.

3. Recipients — data processors

To provide our services, your personal data may be shared with specialised third-party providers with whom we have concluded data processing agreements in accordance with Article 28 GDPR:

Formspree Inc. (contact form infrastructure)

Formspree Inc., based in the United States, provides the technical infrastructure for processing contact form submissions. The company ensures an adequate level of data protection through its certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, approved by the European Commission's implementing decision of 10 July 2023.

Google LLC (Google Analytics)

Google LLC, based in the United States, processes anonymised and statistical data on website traffic. Google Analytics 4 automatically anonymises IP addresses of EU users prior to storage. Google LLC is a certified participant of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

4. Transfer of data outside the European Economic Area

In connection with the use of services provided by Formspree Inc. and Google LLC, your data may be transferred to the United States. Such transfers are based on the European Commission's adequacy decision (Article 45 GDPR) under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

In connection with the processing of personal data by e.Lens, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access — the right to obtain information about the data we process and to receive a copy.
  • Right to rectification — the right to request immediate correction or completion of inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") — the right to have data deleted where there is no longer a basis for its processing.
  • Right to restriction of processing — the right to request suspension of data operations in cases specified by the GDPR.
  • Right to data portability — the right to receive data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Right to object — the right to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests.
  • Right to withdraw consent — in relation to analytical cookies, at any time.
